Arriving in an extra stealthy all black colour scheme, the Air Max 1 Tinker Schematic Black is crafted from a premium combination of mesh and suede. Around the upper, you’ll find design footnotes pencilled in in white, including but not limited to “ADD U-THROAT“, “LATERAL VIEW“, and “MEDIAL VIEW“.
Moving into the sockliner, the sentence ““SAMPLE. PROPERTY OF NIKE. NOT FOR RESALE.” makes its presence known in block capitals. Whether or not this will remain in releases pairs remains to be seen, but if so, it’s a pretty cool nod to the Air Max 1’s concept stage.
