Born and raised in Queens, the KITH figurehead has undoubtedly been infected with the Big Apple’s love for sports. And although at this early stage the collection’s inspiration is unclear, one cannot help make the comparison to colors worn by New York sports teams past and present. The City’s signature colors will be hitting two Uptown options, one white- and the other black-based, each featuring pops of royal blue and orange throughout mimicking uniforms of the New York Knicks and Mets.
A first look at the black pair has surfaced — and it is indeed NYC-sports influenced, with the pair coming complete with Nike’s NYC Swoosh branding. The black leather pair tacks on mismatched semi-translucent TPU Checks in orange (medial) and blue (lateral), and comes complete with a bevy of KITH-branded accents, including tongue tags, rear embroidery, and metallic gold dubraes. Capping off the sneaker is a clean white midsole and icy blue translucent outsole. Take in a first look at the black pair here below, and stay tuned for first looks at the white option, as well as its yet-to-be-confirmed release details.
